@cboettig I really do love seeing the full hash on your notebook posts.

Days like these are one of the few perks of living up in the hills and getting to work from home.

@duffy_ma You reproduced a result. That’s a yay! right there.

@doc_becca wow, that looks like a Bob Ross creation right there.

@hspter emoji is not available on android? Line does stickers bit.ly/124oWG8 and is super popular among kids (incl me).

@hspter heh. Have you ever used the Line app? It takes everything to a whole new level.

@CMastication You’re probably right. I only know that Netflix developed it but didn’t follow it since.

@TrestleJeff Posting that zipped repo to @figshare and include the doi in the paper is also another idea. More easily discoverable than SM.

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to TrestleJeff

@genetics_blog @TrestleJeff @figshare their own. Most logical solution. But forking + clones on journal servers = easy to put back together.

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to strnr

@genetics_blog @TrestleJeff @figshare Yep, I love that integration. If github enterprise licenses weren’t so expensive, journals should 1/2

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to strnr

@tobjep agreed. Journals can also clone copies to their servers (easy to automate) and put everything back together if github went away.

via Tweetbot for iOS in reply to tobjep

@TrestleJeff @genetics_blog @ great idea. Redundancy is key. Journals should also clone copies to quickly replicate if gh disappears.
