@scheidegger @AmeliaMN And oddly enough, some services (like Dropbox) will allow you to skip two factor auth if you don’t have phone handy.

@AmeliaMN It’s mostly to deter far away people breaking into your email without access to your phone.
@AmeliaMN The phone thief will likely just wipe it clean and sell it. Also unlikely to know your email address (since phone will be locked).
