@kwbroman Just wrote back with “Mr Ripley”. Waiting for the vitriol to pour back.

BDR sure knows how to ruin an evening.

@srsupp uhhh Sarah. They are canceling science next week. Something about poor ratings and irreproducibility. Just FYI.

@ucfagls I get that. But is it linked to all these devices at the OS level? if so how?

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to ucfagls

@RobLanfear I’m still with Sublime May switch in the future.

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to RobLanfear

@ucfagls Excellent idea Gavin. Will do for next time. Cheers!

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to ucfagls

@ucfagls Right, I realized that. Now taking a diff approach. Frustrating that lazy_data issues don’t show up on devtools::check but on CRAN.

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to ucfagls

@hadleywickham Used elsewhere too, but for now let’s assume it’s only needed for that fun. What would you suggest?

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to hadleywickham

@ucfagls It’s a dataset in data/ and it is lazy loaded.

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to ucfagls

@hadleywickham wow, Hadley, this package is totally nuts!

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to hadleywickham

@hadleywickham How do you deal with “no visible binding for global variable” when lazy loading a local (documented) dataset?

via Tweetbot for Mac

@jaimedash @hspter @vsbuffalo I used it in grad school to generate data sheets that I could take to the field. So old school.

via Tweetbot for iΟS in reply to jaimedash

@hspter @recology_ @vsbuffalo I’d prefer to coerce. But write a test, with you know, test dat (since it will soon have ensurer as a dep).

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to hspter

@recology_ @hspter @vsbuffalo Can’t you coerce the results into a common format then rbind?

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to sckottie

@hspter @vsbuffalo What’s the use case for an empty data.frame?

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to hspter

@rabaath Definitely taking you up on that!

via Tweetbot for Mac in reply to rabaath

@rabaath just found very cheap flights from SF to Aalborg. Hope it's still available next summer.

via Tweetbot for iΟS in reply to rabaath

@tpoi I don't understand. This is your recruitment strategy? Are you at a Home Depot?
